Bring your appetite because Kids Can Cook is back with an all new and exciting semester that will show the children just how much fun healthful eating can be. Treat your taste buds to a new culinary experience. We will make and sample many delicious foods while we whip up quick and healthy snacks and meals. We will also explore the influences of East Indian, South Asian, Italian and Mexican cooking that can make each meal special. We will tempt the children with colorful cooking and nutritious ingredients. Loads of hands on cooking and plenty of eating. (Fee includes supplies) (CLASS MINIMUM 5 - CLASS MAXIMUM 10)

Animal Adventures is a memorable opportunity to meet ANIMALS from around the world in the brand new ANIMAL ADVENTURE for 2012! This fantastic adventure is geared toward children in grades K-2. Each week the children will experience different animals that may include alligators, pythons, tortoises, monitor lizards, sharks, frogs, tarantulas and many more surprises! Explore their habitats, survival strategies and relationships with humans using charming stories and games in a safe and fun environment. Welcome to the animal kingdom! Wanted: aspiring young actors and writers! Discover what would happen if, for example, Junie B. Jones met Harry Potter in The Diary of the Wimpy Kid's school! Together we will take your favorite storybook character, mix them up with some other storybook characters, and invent our own plot to create an original play through a fun, exciting, creative journey! At the end of the course, we will perform the masterpiece we created together, for your parents to see, while learning about creative writing and theater along the way! (CLASS MINIMUM: 10 - CLASS MAXIMUM:20)

Lessons will include fine art drawings of animals concentrating on line and shading with the use of pencils and pastels, paintings of still life set-up using water colors, instruction on composition and techniques, self portraits focusing on facial features, mood and emotion and cartooning, where you will learn how to draw your favorite cartoon character and develop your own characters. Brand New TITAN TANK ROBOT!

Build Your Own TITAN TANK Robot! TITAN TANK is an infrared remote control robot that recoils and makes sound effects when fired. It automatically turns around when hit by another titan tank. It has a 6 wheel drive that allows it to move and turn smoothly. Up to 4 tanks can battle with each other using the multi-channel remote control. It will help your child learn about electronics, gears, and motors.. Robots go home after the completion of the program. Your child learns the fundamentals of sensors and gear drives, basic electronics, logic and reasoning, block diagrams, and schematics. It is motivational and builds self-confidence. It is ideal for a budding scientist!! (CLASS MINIMUM: 5 students, CLASS MAXIMUM: 18 students)
